The brief from the South African National Blood Service was to get their existing donors to give blood over the festive season. During this period their regular donors are on holiday and busy with family and friends and donating blood is not usually a priority. The SANBS therefore sees a huge drop in donations over this period.
Nando’s began in South Africa in 1987. Since then they have grown from strength to strength and become a globally recognized, and loved, brand. 2012 marked their 25th birthday so they asked us to create a series of adverts that would pay homage to their South African roots and celebrate their birthday in true Nando’s style. The adverts not only needed to get South Africa laughing but they also needed to push three promotional meals along with a limited edition Coca-Cola bottle that was created to commemorate their birthday.
